I will be there providing support and assistance every step of the way. Prior to your big day, I'll offer guidance by sharing sample timelines to assist you in scheduling your day. On the day of your wedding, my primary goal is to capture the overall essence: the emotions, the atmosphere, the serene and lively moments, and all the elements that make your wedding day uniquely yours. I will start the day by capturing the small details — your shoes, perfume, floral arrangements, invitations etc. If I have a second shooter with me they will focus on the groom, any alternate angles and candid moments. Throughout the day, I will be there to offer direction and guidance in front of the camera, I also encourage you to immerse yourselves fully in the moment with your partner. My favourite part of the wedding day to capture is the golden hour portraits. I find everyone to be more relaxed and we can get much more creative.

My editing style is warm and true to tone with a focus on beautiful skin tones. I also love film photography and I want my digital work reflect that. What does that mean!? I keep colours pretty natural and saturated (I know how much time and money is put into selecting outfits and flowers for your wedding day) and want everything to appear similar to real life. My edits can also be slightly moody (darker) and a touch grainy to create that vintage, cinematic and filmy feel. I am also OBSESSED with a good black and white photo. To me they feel so timeless and intimate, so expect to have a lot of black and whites in your gallery. Make sure you check out my portfolio to ensure that my edits align with your personal taste.

Absolutely! I believe that the location plays a significant role in capturing unique and personalized photographs. Whether it's at your home, a scenic outdoor location, or a venue of your choice, I'm open to capturing your portraits in a place that holds meaning to you and your partner. I LOVE photographing engagement sessions at your favourite date spot or the location of your proposal! Let's make it a fun event, instead of it being something to check off your to do list.

While the primary purpose of an engagement session is to capture the love and excitement between a newly engaged couple, this is also the BEST time to get to know your photographer prior to your wedding day! As with so many of my clients, your engagement session may be the first time you have been professionally photographed. It provides an excellent chance for you and your partner to get more comfortable in front of the camera in a more relaxed and casual setting. We will learn what poses and prompts are the most natural for you, so ultimately your wedding day will run more smoothly. To top it off you will also have some great quality photos of you and your partner for save the dates and to display at your wedding!

Second shooters can be essential in telling the complete story of your wedding day, depending on the size of your wedding. Think of the moment when you are walking down the aisle and your partner sees you for the first time - it can be very difficult for a photographer to capture both of your reactions alone. Also, wedding ceremonies can happen FAST. The shortest ceremony I have photographed was only 5 minutes long! To capture all the angles and special moments that quickly, it is very important to have a second photographer. Additionally, they are key to your day when you and your partner are getting ready at different locations, gathering people for family photos, and the list goes on!

My typical turn around time for a wedding is 10-12 weeks and 2-3 weeks for an engagement session. With both, you will receive sneak peeks within 72 hours of the session. The timeline can vary slightly depending on the season of your session as I prioritize quality and attention to detail to deliver exceptional images that exceed your expectations.

If the weather doesn't cooperate on the day of an outdoor engagement shoot, we can discuss alternatives such as rescheduling the session or finding an indoor location. I want to ensure the best possible outcome for your photos, and I am pretty flexible in adapting to unforeseen circumstances. As for your wedding day, I always have matching clear "emergency umbrellas" in my car lol. I will also add that a cloudy day can result in really beautiful photos! Clouds can create a softer light that is actually more flattering than harsh, direct sunlight.

For my wedding packages you will receive an unlimited gallery of fully edited images. This can range from approximately 600-1000 photos depending on your day and what will accurately represent your story. I will choose the best photos and do not put a cap on the number of images I deliver as every wedding day is unique. I take the same approach with my engagement sessions. You can expect roughly 50-100 photos from a 45 min session, but once again I do not limit the amount of photos I deliver. That being said, I do NOT deliver raw or unedited photos. I spend a lot of time sorting and selecting the best photos (removing the mid-blink and unflattering ones) to curate a beautiful final gallery for you.

YES, absolutely! I LOVE dogs. If you want photos including your dog on your wedding day, I suggest assigning a friend or family member to help out. Just a heads up your dogs paws can get muddy... so consider this if they are prone to jumping on you when planning this, if you know what I mean. lol.

I ask you to set aside a box of all your details, this includes your rings, other jewellery (watch, cufflinks), invitations, shoes, ties, flowers, etc. so I can begin photographing them as soon as I arrive at your getting ready location. I will also need a shot list for your family photos. This is a detailed list of the combinations of people, including their names and relation to you, that we will call out for your family portraits. This helps make family photo time effortless and stress free so everyone can enjoy cocktail hour!
